Last week, Mommy Eichel was invited to join the CPK Pizza Wars 2016 at California Pizza Kitchen Shangri-La Plaza. It was a great opportunity to witness this second run of culinary adventure and be one of the first to try the newest addition to their pizza menu through CPK's annual Pizza Chef competition. And for CPK, making a pizza is not a job, it's a passion.

I love creamy sauce so, I had the Spaghetti Carbonara (P350.00 Personal) which I enjoyed the most. This creamy white sauce spaghetti pasta has Nueske's Applewood smoked bacon, peas and parsley tossed in Romano cheese cream sauce. We were surprised that our babylove enjoyed it, too! He always go for the red sauce spaghetti but that time he savor the white sauce pasta with me.
Hubbylove ordered Spaghetti Meatballs (P350.00 Personal) since we love their Marinara sauce and the Italian meatballs. Babylove enjoyed it too, since it's a bit sweet and the taste is perfect for kids as well.
For our little man, we got the Pepperoni (P185.00) from CPKids. This cutey pizza was served with either Iced Tea, Milk or Chocolate Milk. We opted for the Chocolate Milk and we all loved it! Yes, we tried it, too! Hihi ;)
Along with our pasta, we ordered the BBQ Chicken Sandwich (P325.00), made with original BBQ chicken, cheese and huge onion rings and freshly baked foccacia bread. This sandwich was served with the yummy and crunchy fries of CPK.
For our dessert, we had The Elvis Pizza (P225.00) - this pizza was one of the finalist from the CPK Pizza Wars and it was inspired by Elvis' favorite snack. We got curious that's why we tried it. This amazing thin crust pizza is a combination of sweet and savory taste. It has peanut butter, banana and bacon topped with peanut sauce, candied walnuts and generous vanilla ice cream.
