Skye Is The Limit was one of the first to visit the most prestigious Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) facility in the Philippines, the Marriott Grand Ballroom located in Resorts World Manila. During the press conference, we were also given a sneak peek and tour of the facilities of the largest and grandest hotel ballroom in the Philippines.

Marriott Hotel has a separate area for events and other functions. It's a 4-storey building with a total of 10,000 square meters of function space. It has 28 different all-purpose halls and function rooms for different types of events like meetings, international exhibits, product launches, concerts, and even a wedding celebration. This building also houses three restaurants, four freight elevators, two service elevators or cargo lifts perfect for car shows, and 1,500 parking spaces within six basement levels with fully automatic parking passes. It has exhaust system to refresh and remove smoke in all parking levels.

Marriott's main ballroom has 3,000 sqm of pillarless space that can easily accommodate 4,000 guests for cocktails and 2,500 for banquet set-up. This huge venue can be subdivided into four sections and features the SkyFold Technology - vertical folding partitions that comes from the ceiling, and 176 Programmable Pillow Ceiling Lights that changes to 360 colors and can adjust the ceiling height from 12 meters to 10 meters for a more intimate gathering - another first in the Philippines.

Executive Chef Meik Brammer and his team served us a sumptuous 4-course meal that were truly filling and gave us energy before the tour.

Marriott Grand Ballroom has three dining hot spots that caters different dishes for the guests. Mian, a modern Asian noodle bar that offers refined and unique noodle dishes fired in an open kitchen.

Allegro, an innovative deli that serves up a fresh approach on quick and delicious recipes on the go.

Crema is an upscale gourmet coffee shop that offers a sophisticated ambiance perfect for short meetings, a quiet read or a quick break.

Our little Skye enjoyed his tour at the Marriott Grand Ballroom. He did not bother while waiting for mommy inside the Diplomatic Hall for the press conference. Skye and Daddy Vince had fun exploring the place.
