Celebrate Love at Applebee's Grill and Bar BGC

Applebee's BGC - MommyEichel

We recently celebrated our anniversary at the Applebee's Grill and Bar in Bonifacio Global City branch and we had a very pleasant dining experience. The staffs were all friendly and very accommodating when it comes to our needs. Applebee's BGC is located at the ground floor of W Global Center in 9th Avenue just beside its sister company IHOP and California Pizza Kitchen.

Family Day at North Park

Few weeks ago, we found ourselves dining at North Park Noodles with our favorite Chinese dishes. Since it was quite hot outside then, we skipped our favorite Aniseed Beef Tendon Noodles Soup and ordered rice and two viands instead.

Weekend Love with CPK at Greenbelt 5

CPK Greenbelt 5 - California Pizza Kitchen

After our fun family day in Makati, we headed straight to California Pizza Kitchen in Greenbelt 5. We are all pasta lovers and we did not let our family day pass without having our fave dish.

CPK Greenbelt 5 - California Pizza Kitchen

I love creamy sauce so, I had the Spaghetti Carbonara (P350.00 Personal) which I enjoyed the most. This creamy white sauce spaghetti pasta has Nueske's Applewood smoked bacon, peas and parsley tossed in Romano cheese cream sauce. We were surprised that our babylove enjoyed it, too! He always go for the red sauce spaghetti but that time he savor the white sauce pasta with me.

Hubbylove ordered Spaghetti Meatballs (P350.00 Personal) since we love their Marinara sauce and the Italian meatballs. Babylove enjoyed it too, since it's a bit sweet and the taste is perfect for kids as well.

For our little man, we got the Pepperoni (P185.00) from CPKids. This cutey pizza was served with either Iced Tea, Milk or Chocolate Milk. We opted for the Chocolate Milk and we all loved it! Yes, we tried it, too! Hihi ;)

Along with our pasta, we ordered the BBQ Chicken Sandwich (P325.00), made with original BBQ chicken, cheese and huge onion rings and freshly baked foccacia bread. This sandwich was served with the yummy and crunchy fries of CPK.

For our dessert, we had The Elvis Pizza (P225.00) - this pizza was one of the finalist from the CPK Pizza Wars and it was inspired by Elvis' favorite snack. We got curious that's why we tried it. This amazing thin crust pizza is a combination of sweet and savory taste. It has peanut butter, banana and bacon topped with peanut sauce, candied walnuts and generous vanilla ice cream.

It was always a great dining experience with California Pizza Kitchen and you should try it, too!

Lydia's Lechon Timog Branch

Lydia's Lechon - Timog

The newly relocated Lydia's Lechon Timog Branch is just a few meters away from the old location. And, this is probably my favorite branch so far because of the great ambiance and the nice interior, not to mention the great food (as always), and friendly staffs.

Tokyo Tokyo Chicken Katsu

Tokyo Tokyo - Chicken Katsu

We tried Tokyo Tokyo's Big Chicken Katsu during our mall visit near our place. We saw a lot of customers enjoying this huge mouth-watering goodness. We chose the Chicken Katsu Sumo Meal with Tempura since we love Tempura. Good thing we opted for that meal instead of ordering two Chicken Katsu which was actually good for sharing. We had the Teriyaki sauce and it was really good. The strong taste of Teriyaki sauce goes well with the thickness of the chicken meat. It was indeed another happy tummy for us :)

Chef Robert

Chef Robert

We had our brunch at Chef Robert one weekend morning. The place is quite small but they amazingly offers a lot of comfort food in their menus. And since we were craving for fries that week, we ordered their Cheesy Fries Platter, Sliders, and Clubhouse Sandwich.

Clubhouse sandwich is one of our favorites. It's really filling and you will not get bored eating this delicious treat. The delectable chunky meat and fresh veggies filled our tummy. Their cute Sliders are good as well. The patties were yummy and the breads were soft and tasty. And of course, their scrumptious fries were perfectly cooked and satisfied our cravings. Yay! We will definitely come back and will try some of their specialties.

Kudos to Chef Robert! Truly a comfort food at its finest.

Frankies New York Buffalo Wings

Frankie's New York Buffalo Wings

Dad and I both love fried chicken. And, when we say fried chicken, it is not just a plain chicken deep fried in oil. We always put a lot of different McCormick spices from our cupboard to enhance the flavor and give us not just a satisfaction but pure bliss. So, whenever we go out, we wanted to try something deliciously different. And then, we found Frankie's New York Buffalo Wings. #LoveTheirFood

Solace Wine and Dine

Solace Wine & Dine

I just learned that Solace Wine and Dine had a revamped on 2013. The interiors are now different as well as their menu and they are now under Chef Philip Golding. I remember when we first visit the place during my sister's project, it was so elegant, so relaxing and so fancy, not to mention the excellent quality of their food. You can find this place in One Greenbelt Hotel, a small boutique hotel along Arnaiz Avenue in Makati City.

XO46 Heritage Bistro

XO46 Heritage Bistro

After Dad's basketball practice last weekend, he brought us to this posh Filipino resto in Century Mall Makati. He said the food there was really good with a classy taste. XO staffs also speak only in Tagalog and they use some Spanish terms. You will hear not-so-familiar Tagalog words and they will call you like señorito and señorita.

Movie Stars Cafe

March of 2013. After our photowalk at the Mall of Asia baywalk, we headed to Movie Stars Cafe for our dinner buffet reservation. This resto serves not only good food, but pure entertainment. Their food servers were in a full costumes from princesses to superheroes and villains. After every 15 or 20 minutes, these servers will suddenly run to the stage and will act as if they are really a full time stage performers. We really enjoyed our time watching them with their skylarking performances while munching our dinner buffet. That night was also during the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition wherein Italy and The Netherlands flaunted their fireworks.  Daddylove gave me such a wonderful date that day from our photowalk, to our delightful dinner, up to the breath-taking view of the night sky with different lights and colors from the spectacular fireworks display.
