We recently celebrated our anniversary at the Applebee's Grill and Bar in Bonifacio Global City branch and we had a very pleasant dining experience. The staffs were all friendly and very accommodating when it comes to our needs. Applebee's BGC is located at the ground floor of W Global Center in 9th Avenue just beside its sister company IHOP and California Pizza Kitchen.
We love the quality of the food served by the Applebee's Grill and Bar and the quantity was a plus factor. Every dishes has a rich and distinct flavor and you will surely not gonna think of wasting your money.
For the appetizer, we ordered the Build Your Sampler with 3 appetizers for P550.00. We chose the Wonton Taco, a spicy chicken-stuffed wonton shells, cole slaw and cilantro. Pot stickers, shrimp and pork-filled wontons served with thai peanut and soy dumpling sauces. Cheese Quesadilla, crisp tortilla stuffed with cheddar cheese blend and pico de gallo served with salsa verde. We love every single bite of these tasty and all-crunchy appetizers. I just can't get enough of them and I am drooling while writing this post. Shish!
Hubbylove ordered his fave red sauce pasta, Spaghetti and Meatballs (P295.00). This generous pasta dish is covered in marinara sauce topped with homemade meatballs and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. The meatballs are really tasty and enough for sharing, but, in my hubbylove's appetite, he savored everything on his plate!
I had the 4-Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders (P385.00). I love this Cavatappi pasta covered with rich 4-cheese cream sauce tossed with bacon and bell peppers. It comes with chicken tenders glazed with honey pepper sauce. Hubbylove enjoyed the chicken tenders, too! The server initially informed us that Applebee's dishes are good for sharing and we might want to try other mains. We just thanked Kuya since he did not know that he's speaking to a pasta lovers and what our appetite is! But, since I had enough of the mouth-watering appetizers, I brought home some of my cheesy pasta. #TakawMata ;)
Hubbylove wanted to try the Clubhouse Grill (P395.00), piled high with warm ham, grilled chicken breast, melted cheddar & Jack cheeses with smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo and a drizzle of signature honey BBQ sauce on freshly toasted tuscan bread. The sandwich fillings will make you feel really full, so, I also brought home half of my share including some of the fries to have some room for the yummy dessert! Woot-woot!
I suggested the Butter Pecan Blondie (P325.00) simply because I love this sizzling dessert. This blondie is baked with nuts, topped with generous ice cream, glazed pecans and cream cheese sauce. Yes, with cream cheese sauce (insert Hallelujah sung by the orchestra)... cream cheese sauce...music to my ears. #ThatIsWhyImFat #WhoCares #OnlyCareBearsCares ;)
